How to register for being self-employed With HMRC?

What is an invoice ?

An invoice is a document sent to a customer that specifies the cost and the description of the services provided e.g. a bar shift at sky bar from 7pm - 11pm, the hourly rate and the total amount owed, the date of the shift, invoice number, National insurance, payment information, contact information, the terms for payment, so for last minute bar staff member's the payment terms are, the invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice being submitted.
